Perspectives

Hey guys, I'm back again w the blogs. Yes I know it's been a while since I've been pretty busy lately but I'm back better than ever and I have a good discussion to talk with you guys today. "You're so beautiful","Wow you're hot!","How did you get such a nice body". Do you guys ever get compliments like this from anybody from your friends or family? For some people these are some compliments people give if they see someone attractive or in good shape. But how can we tell if someone is really beautiful or not? Is it a matter of appearance or is it what matters inside? Tell me, what is beauty? Can't really give a direct answer right, yea me too that's cos this topic of "beauty" is very controversial and subjective won't you say so.

A few days ago, I stumbled upon this proverb which really caught my eye. This is cause a few days ago, in class teacher assigned us to this topic about beauty so therefore it was actually related to what we were learning in class. The proverb was "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". In my opinion, I think this proverb is trying to say that beauty is very subjective and different people have different perspectives on what beauty really is. So it really all depends on you what you think beauty is and who you think is beautiful. This is because what one person finds beautiful or admirable might not appeal to another. Although beauty can't really be defined but some people often quite have a stereotypical view on what beauty is. To some people, a guy w a perfect body with muscular arms and hard abs is considered beautiful and a girl w a stunning body who is slim with perfect skin is also considered beautiful. I hardly disagree with this because beauty is not objective and there is no proper perception of it,

People have different perspectives on what they find beautiful about a person. For example, a person with tattoos all over his body. Some people might find it not appealing to the eyes and they will judge the person based on his physical appearances. Having tattoos all over your body doesn't mean that you are not beautiful. Maybe to him he loves how he looks and he appreciates his tattoos on his body and he finds it very beautiful. In fact, from what I heard a person usually gets a tattoo because each tattoo has a certain meaning to it and that's how they express themselves. Other than that, this same goes to people with piercings. People only think it's only necessary to have piercings only at the ears and no where else on the body. There is no restrictions as to where and where not to have a piercing. A person can have a piercing on his ears, nose, tongue or even belly button and they can be considered as pretty. To some people, they might disagree with these kinds of things but it all depends on the person itself and they should have the courage to call themselves beautiful because that's how they should feel.

Nobody should ever listen to what someone else says about you or ever take negative criticism. If you do, it will only break you down and lose your self-confidence and you will call yourself ugly. I highly disagree with that, you are beautiful just the way you are and you should embrace who you are as a person wether people like it or not. If you call yourself beautiful then you are beautiful. This is because all you need in life is positivity and if you're happy with who you are as a person then that's all that matters.
